Technology mainstay Acer has been recognised by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its efforts in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The vendor was awarded the Dubai Chamber’s CSR Label Award for its dedication to integrating CSR into its strategy and operations.
“Acer was awarded based on its workplace, marketplace, community and environmental impacts, and we are proud to say that sustainability and CSR is an integral part of what we do. We are delighted to have been recognised by Dubai Chamber for these practices,” said David Drummond, Vice President, Middle East and Africa at Acer.
“We have set a goal to reach a global balance that integrates human, environmental and community resources, and by integrating and embedding CSR into our business operations and participating proactively in programs like the Dubai Chamber CSR Label, we continue to demonstrate our commitment and determination to operating as a responsible company,” Drummond added.
