Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai has selected Canon Emirates to provide managed print services (MPS).
Under the agreement, Canon Emirates, a subsidiary of Canon Middle East, will supply, install and manage nine units of multi-functional devices including imageRUNNER copiers and i-SENSYS laser printers for the specialist eye hospital.
“The healthcare industry is a growing sector in the region, presenting numerous opportunities for us to grow our business in this field. We are pleased to have strengthened our presence in this industry by winning major supply deals in the last few months,” said Shadi Bakhour, general manager, Canon Emirates.
The hospital, a branch of Moorfields London, said it selected Canon’s MPS to give it greater control of the workflow and create cost savings.
“Previously, we were unable to track our printing and copying workflow which has led to a great deal of wastage and at times compromised security of critical documents. Canon has effectively addressed our concerns in regard to control and cost-savings, hence our decision to invest in their multi-function printers and document management solutions,” said Mariano Gonzalez, managing director, Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai.
Following the Canon MPS offering, Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai can now enjoy a centralised system for all their printing requirements with scheduled maintenance checks and support from the Canon Emirates team of service.
