The channel in Uganda is bracing itself for a tight year ahead in dealing with the government as the presidential elections year 2016 approaches fast.

A local player – Business Centre Limited (BCL) has said in an interview with Channel Post MEA that they expect limited government expenditure as the presidential elections approach.
As a result, BCL, which is a Gold Partner of Cyberoam and Kaspersky in Uganda is positioning itself amidst this year’s anticipated decline in business with government by looking beyond Uganda’s borders and plan to extend their reach into Southern Sudan in the next two years.
With all the local challenges and operating in a young market, BCL became Cyberoam’s Top Partner of the year 2014 for Uganda and was recognised for its efforts during Cyberoam’s partner summit in Mombasa last December.
BCL currently offers services in Information Technology Support, Supplies and Security and is looking to sign on with new vendors as the market in the region continues to expand.
