Brocade partners with Mirantis

Brocade proponent of open networking technologies has signed a partnership with Mirantis. Mirantis is a pure play OpenStack company and Brocade partners with Mirantis to OpenStack implements Brocade’s SDN plug-ins for Neutron, enabling deployment and configuration of virtual networks using Brocade VDX switches with VCS fabric technology, Brocade ADX L4-L7 application delivery switches and Brocade Vyatta vRouter and SDN orchestration software. Mirantis and Brocade are collaborating to bring additional Vyatta functionality to OpenStack.

Through this partnership Mirantis and Brocade have partnered to provide a turnkey, OpenStack-based, On-Demand Data Center solution for service providers. Brocade builds on the proven Mirantis OpenStack platform and Fuel deployment automation by adding network management integration, functionality, scalability, and automation suitable for cloud service provider’s complex needs, helping them prepare for the New IP.
