Francophone Africa’s Telecom event kicks off in Abidjan

Francophone Africa’s main telecom annual gathering – Africa Telecom People (ATP) has kicked off in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
ATPlogo-contactThis two-day event, at which some 5000 visitors and more than 700 distinguished guests are expected, is in its tenth instance. Every year, for the past decade, ATP has gathered the main actors of the telecommunications sector in francophone Africa.

In release earlier today, Global Voice Group (GVG) and SGS Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), announced that they are participating, as sponsors, exhibitors and speakers, at Africa Telecom People (ATP) 2014.

As exhibitors and speakers, GVG and SGS will present a number of information and communication technologies that apply to telecom regulation and to taxation. Furthermore, in the context of its partnership with MedixWeb, a designer and developer of electronic medical management and epidemiological monitoring platforms, GVG will present cutting-edge solutions adapted to the African continent’s public health issues.

Every year, for the past decade, ATP has gathered the main actors of the telecommunications sector in francophone Africa. This high-profile rallying event represents an ideal opportunity for entrepreneurs, regulators and government stakeholders to meet and exchange ideas.

Through the eagerly awaited presentation of the ATP Awards, ATP also aims to highlight the exceptional contribution of the sector’s African actors, who stand out through their innovation, initiative, entrepreneurship, development among others.

Other big players present at ATP 2014 include MTN, Orange, Prysmian Group, ViPNET, ansut, ARTCI and AIGF all of whom are also sponsors of the event.
