DCG conducted the “DCG Semi Annual General Meet” in association with Cosmos Insurance Brokers and American International Group (AIG) on 29th Oct 2014 at Grand Excelsior Hotel. The event was attended by large numbers of DCG members along with media and guests from AIG.
DCG General Secretary – Dharmendra Sawlani welcomed the guests in his opening speech followed by Keynote address by Shailendra Rughwani, the President of DCG. He thanked all members and the working committee for making the year 2014 very eventful.
Suchit Kumar, the Head of the Working Committee informed members about past activities and achievements of DCG. Next, Sachin Gehani (a DCG Board Member) presented the plan of DCG’s future events.
The event was sponsored by AIG along with Cosmos insurance. One of the main objectives of the event was to provide an insight on benefits and mechanism of credit insurance. AIG announced a discount of 15 % (for DCG members who will sign up with them in next 120 days.
AIG’s trade credit manager for GCC, Ms. Casey Bell, gave a detailed presentation on Credit Insurance products with AIG and extended AIG’s support to DCG members for insuring their receivables.
DCG also announced that it will soon be organising a B2C event, similar to the B2B event that was held a few months ago. The event will have limited stands for DCG members and will be offered to companies on first come-first serve basis.
