Following a successful drive through East Africa recently, leading systems integrator Prologix is now planning to take on the vastness of West Africa before returning to East Africa in a few months.
Prologix, in August 2014, conducted a successful multi-vendor roadshow in East Africa and it included Africa-based channel giants Cambium Networks, Trango Systems, Sangoma Technologies, Peplink, Levelone, IDEAL Industries and Secura among others.
“The events were a great success with high turnout of quality audience from Operators, ISPs, resellers and system integrators…” Chaithali Punchathar the Prologix Marketing and Relationship Manager told Channel Post MEA.
According to Chaitali, the roadshow covered Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. He revealed that the ROI from the show has been exemplary as they were able to close some major deals in East Africa following this roadshow series.
“We have few great projects in the pipeline and are working closely with our customers in the region for the same,” Chaithali revealed and hinted that they will be doing another roadshow in West Africa just in a few months time.
On the Prologix website, a statement said: “A very successful Prologix roadshow in Tanzania was followed by an eventful day in Uganda. The Wireless Connectivity event conducted in Kampala attracted around 70 customers from the community of Telecom Operators, System Integrators, Resellers, ISPs and WISPs and Government.
All the product presentations were received with keen interest by the audience and engaging Q&A sessions too place. The audience was eager to know more about the latest and innovative wireless, security, test and measurement, VoIP, security solutions. The Prologix team along with their vendors networked with the customers to give them the message on the how these solutions could help enhancing the formers’ business.”
