cloudBuy, a leading cloud e-Commerce solution provider and DUC Consulting International, an IT consultancy practice with a strong presence in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Europe, have partnered to host a conference on ‘Smart e-Commerce Solutions for Public and Private Sectors’ on 20 October 2014 at the British Embassy Dubai.
The event, which is being held in co-operation with the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), will serve as a venue for industry experts and C-level executives in the UAE public sector to meet and discuss current trends and issues surrounding e-Commerce in the GCC region and cloud technology’s impact on this sector.

Across the Middle East, e-Commerce sales have skyrocketed in recent years as more and more consumers opt for better deals, competitive prices and convenience that online shopping provides. By 2015, regional online sales revenue is expected to reach USD15 billion, up by over 67% from the USD9 billion recorded in 2012, according to a PayPal report.
