hus the scale of the opportunity we have to solve their problems in IT security is larger than ever.
The truth is, most IT organizations just can’t keep up. They are overwhelmed. And that’s true not only for SMEs but even for companies with 10, or 20 or even 100 dedicated IT security experts. Thus the goal must be to combine the existing technologies without losing clarity. This is exactly what we are doing with our project Galileo.
What do you plan to achieve through GITEX Technology Week and GITEX Shopper this year? Can you please share your plans?
The Middle East is a very important market for Sophos and GITEX, being the largest technology exhibition in the region, is an ideal platform for us to showcase our best-in-class security solutions portfolio, meet with regional customers and partners at a single venue and strengthen our channel network
Do you plan to launch any new products or technologies at GITEX Technology Week and GITX Shopper this year?
Beside our new hardware SG Series and new version of our security solutions like Cloud, UTM or Mobile Control we will highlight our brand new Galileo project. Galileo represents context aware security driving autonomously smarter security decisions and combining all our solutions.
What’s going to be your theme at GITEX Technology Week this year?
Security made simple. IT security products have become as complex as the networks they’re trying to secure. At Sophos we know that the solution to complexity is not more complexity. We tackle security challenges with clarity and confidence, knowing that simple security is better security.
We know that a proper security strategy must include networks, servers and devices. At GITEX, we plan to highlight how our solutions ensure your network’s security by providing the one thing no one else can: Simplicity.
What sort of channel strategies are you going to follow this year?
