Now in its 4th year, the conference runs from 10-12 February and highlights the how the global surge in data volumes is changing every major industry and every aspect of consumers’ daily lives, creating the need for analytic solutions for enterprises.

A recent study by IDC published in October 2013 found that big data and analytics is drawing investment in the Middle East region. Most of this investment has been focused on business intelligence (BI), with 35% of Middle Eastern CIOs having invested in BI in 2013 and 41% scoping for 2013. On the analytics front only 11% had invested in 2012 but demand is growing with 42% planning or scoping in 2013.
