Microsoft Jordan held on Thursday 13 February, 2014, its Windows VIP Summit at the Sheraton Hotel in Amman. Geared towards highlighting Microsoft ‘s latest technology innovations, the Windows VIP Summit hosted a group of regional industry experts, Chief Information Officers and Business Development Managers from the banking, information technology, finance, public and education sectors.
Over the course of the day-long event, a number of Microsoft Product Managers from across the region demonstrated how Microsoft ‘s newest products can positively impact business operations. In addition, several keynote speakers showcased Microsoft ‘s latest technology solutions, namely Windows 8 and Office 365. The event also hosted multiple booths comprising tablets, laptops and smartphones that feature Windows Phone and Windows 8, providing guests with the opportunity to learn more about what these cutting-edge platforms have to offer.

Malhas also highlighted several Microsoft Jordan success stories with different schools across the Kingdom, emphasizing the Company’s commitment towards Jordan as a whole, particularly with regards to improving education standards and positively impacting job creation. Malhas reaffirmed Microsoft Jordan ‘s sense of responsibility towards actively helping students, teachers and education organizations modernize and facilitate their learning, teaching and operational processes.
In turn, Ahmad Malhas, Director of Administration and Finance at Mashrek International School, commented, ” Microsoft Office 365 has proven to be a highly efficient solution that helped us boost productivity levels and save nearly JD 20,000 by replacing servers that were previously used for emailing and electronic student filing systems.”
