ProMAX rides high on channel expansion

ProMaX SystemsUS based, ProMAX Systems, the manufacturer of multi-functional, high-performance shared storage servers and editing workstations for video expressed its desire to expand their reseller channel across the globe to represent its growing product line.

With this new initiative company plans to focus more on innovation and enhancing its manufacturing capabilities. Mirroring the limitless expansion capabilities of its servers, ProMAX is building its reseller channel to reach additional markets seeking solutions to manage the rapidly increasing quantities of data involved in video production and post-production processes.

According to Amy Lounsbury, Channel Manager at ProMAX said, “Several US resellers and integrators have aligned with ProMAX to date, with plans including international expansion into APAC, EMEA and Latin America.”

Since ProMAX launched the Platform shared storage server in Q4 2012, it has become the most eagerly adopted new product of its kind by video companies of all sizes. ProMAX changed what video and media professionals expect from shared storage by introducing Platform’s unique multi-functional modules. Platform gained industry attention by delivering superior video performance and intuitive data management capabilities in addition to powering demanding workflow functions such as transcoding, asset management and archive.

The recently announced New Platform Series models significantly increase the servers’ scalability, adding multi-location features and functions extending from 8 terabytes to 25 petabytes; firmly positioning Platform servers as an Enterprise class solution.

“Everyone is looking for more simplified, and economical ways to deal with mounting terabytes and petabytes of media. Higher resolution digital cameras like RED and broadcast capabilities such as HDTV and 4K are creating higher density files that are chewing up a lot more storage.” explains Jess Hartmann, CEO, ProMAX.

The company believes that in addition to the media and entertainment markets, resellers and system integrators can also tap the potential that large corporations, colleges and universities, professional sports teams, stadiums and arenas and government operations offers.
