Aruba Networks, a leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise, signed a one year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aramex, a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, to achieve the objective of widespread global use of information technology and communication. This partnership will see Aramex use of Aruba’s secure WLAN technology, Network Access Control, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and Network Management System.
The memorandum outlines the complete coverage of Aruba Networks wireless connectivity across all Aramex locations globally. This partnership will ensure wireless coverage is secured in Aramex offices and warehouses, enabling guest access to partners, suppliers and auditors and to provide constant and secure access to employees to use their own tablets and smartphones.

In addition to its Wireless LAN, ClearPass and Airwave portfolios, Aruba Networks will provide Aramex with ArubaCare and PartnerCare support to improve technical assistance and reduce operational costs. ArubaCare provides immediate access to the Aruba Technical Assistance Center (ArubaTAC). Recently introduced to the global market, ArubaCare benefits both multinational and regional resellers, while PartnerCare is the leading support program option for resellers outside of North America.

Aruba Networks will conduct knowledge transfer sessions on a regular basis to teach Aramex employees the latest wireless technologies. The full implementation will take place after a testing period by the global services team and the roll out and implementation will initially take place in the newest sites, followed by all other locations.
The memorandum is in line with Aruba Networks aim to augment enterprise mobility and remote networking solutions in the region.
