“GITEX aims to provide an opportunity for everybody who is interested in technology to interact with one another and this year’s event will be no different. Following our successful participation at the 2012 edition, Sharp is returning to the Middle East’s flagship ICT event on a bigger scale with more exciting products and solutions being presented over the period of five days,” said Tomoo Shimizu, Director, Business Solutions Division, Sharp Middle East and Africa.

“We’ve seen strong growth in our corporate and education business pillars, with elevated demand for our Interactive LED Displays, as well as an increasing interest in our software solutions, particularly in the retail sector. It is these trends, as well as our desire to share with the MEA region our latest technology, that has influenced the make-up of this year’s stand.”

GITEX has firmly cemented its place as the top ICT business event in the region over the last few years. The event has constantly evolved to meet the needs of the market through the introduction of new thought-provoking sessions and the presentation of next generation technologies.

Providing an opportunity for Sharp to showcase its future technologies and commitment to remaining at the forefront of industry innovation, the company looks to build on last year’s success and attract even more visitors to its stand and conduct more business than any previous year.
