Jordan based TAG-Org launches a regional e-cloud project

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) launched the Knowledge Society Regional E-cloud project for West Asia and North Africa.

A special briefing session was organized for HRH Prince El Hassan Bin Talal, which was presided by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, president of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University (TAGI-UNI) and several other ICT experts.

HRH Prince El Hassan Bin Talal was also presented a report on ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh E-cloud’ project created by the Group, which is the first E-cloud of its kind in the Arab world that provides electronic services to all TAG-Org’s offices around the world with a the latest global technology.

HRH hoped that this project will contribute in reducing dependency on abroad in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He also called on establishing an Arab database which will be used as a reference when determining priorities and formulating national policies.

The E-Cloud project also includes specialized funding organizations which will contribute in establishing an Arab database that will serve all productive, economic and service sectors especially the institutions that are concerned with developing the educational, training and capacity building sectors.
