Keith Dane, Epicor

Epicor Software today announced the appointment of Keith Deane as senior vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective immediately.  Keith will lead the EMEA region out of UK and will be reporting directly to Pervez Qureshi, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Epicor.

In this new role, Deane will be focused on revenue growth and expanding the market for Epicor enterprise resourcing planning (ERP) solutions throughout the region. A proven leader, Deane brings more than 20 years of sales, operations and software industry experience to Epicor, having worked for leading ERP, SaaS, e-commerce, middleware, infrastructure, process management and business intelligence software providers during his career.  Under Deane’s leadership as the head of EMEA operations at Infor, revenue more than quadrupled in the region.

“Keith is a seasoned leader with a proven track record in our industry in EMEA,” said Qureshi. “His broad experience leading sales and professional services organizations will be instrumental in this strategic role, as expanding our global footprint is a key to our continued growth and success.  I am confident that Keith brings the experience and leadership our company needs to drive continued success in EMEA.”

“I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the Epicor EMEA team and build on the company’s market leadership to drive further success,” said Deane.  “Epicor software, services and support offer remarkable value to companies whether operating from a local, regional or global perspective, with businesses solutions that enable greater agility, efficiency and compliance.  I am looking forward to working with our customers, employees and partners throughout EMEA to help them achieve even greater success.”

Prior to joining Epicor, Deane served as Vice President and General Manager, International with Iron Mountain Digital, which was acquired by Autonomy, now an HP company.  From 2009 to 2012, he served in a board of director/chairman role for a UK-based provider of managed software as a service (SaaS) solutions for B2B e-commerce.  As President, EMEA at Infor from 2005 to 2009, Deane was instrumental in its growth to become the third largest provider of business software.
