LG launches new portable projector

LG HW300Y

LG launched its new WXGA Portable LED projector, HW300Y which delivers broadband and DLNA connectivity for outstanding entertainment options in a highly portable package. The HW300Y produces clear, exceptionally bright pictures, while it’s super long-lasting lamp should still be working two decades after the projector comes out the box.

“The HW300Y has all the content advantages of broadband and DLNA connectivity, and is compact enough that you can carry and watch it almost anywhere,” said H.S. Paik, President, LG Gulf.

The HW300Y’s broadband function delivers a host of popular internet services directly onto the big screen, including pre-paid HD movies, real-time weather information from AccuWeather, and the most popular social networking sites. Its DLNA connectivity means the HW300Y also offers simple, wireless access to all viewers’ digital content stored on DLNA-compatible devices, including mobile phones, TVs and PCs.

Thanks to a compact size and a weight of just 780g, the elegantly designed HW300Y can be carried and taken practically anywhere. Whether for gaming at home, giving presentations in the office, or showing movies out in the garden, the HW300Y delivers crisp, high-quality images onto any available space, with a projection size of 100 inches at a distance of 250cm.

Via its USB connection, the HW300Y can access and play DivX format HD content and also allows users to show presentations and data spreadsheets without having to convert the files. In addition, a volume booster automatically adjusts differing sound levels on broadcasts to ensure a consistent audio output, and a Real Quick On/Off button brings the projector to full power within just five seconds of switching it on.
