Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing Solutions provider Rapid7 recently partnered with Spire Solutions to distribute unified vulnerability management and penetration testing solutions, Nexpose and Metasploit across the Middle East region.
Spire Solutions will focus on increasing the footprint for Rapid7 in the region by recruiting channel partners and value added resellers to acquire a new customer base.

Glenn Williamson, vice president for international sales at Rapid7, said, “We are glad to be associated with a security specialist in the Middle East region who understands not only the dynamics of the channel trade, but also the technology itself. This partnership will enable Rapid7 to satisfy the growing demand among end users and partners for a unified vulnerability management solution with advanced capabilities and penetration testing with a high return on investment.”

Rapid7’s products are already being used by more than 1,700 organizations. Its free products are downloaded more than one million times per year, with over 125,000 security community users and contributors.

Nexpose proactively supports the entire vulnerability management lifecycle, including discovery, detection, verification, risk classification, impact analysis, reporting and mitigation of vulnerabilities across physical and virtual environments. It gives an immediate insight into the security posture of their IT environment by conducting over 75,000 vulnerability checks for more than 22,000 vulnerabilities.

Metasploit Pro complements the whole process by enabling defenders to respond to the changing threat landscape with identification and understanding of security holes in their enterprise infrastructure.

“Rapid7’s solutions complement Spire’s existing product portfolio. Nexpose and Metasploit offer a great opportunity for the channel partners and value added resellers to tap into the untapped potential in the region,” said Sanjeev Walia, director at Spire Solutions.
