Leader’s in unified communications, Polycom announced the opening of a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, which is part of the strategic vision of Polycom to grow ist presence in the region. Polycom in Q3 2011 grew its revenueby 23% year-over-year in EMEA including Turkey and the Middle East.
The new facility will help Polycom continue to innovate and deliver HD video and Polycom HD Voice collaboration solutions based on the Polycom RealPresence Platform, the most comprehensive software infrastructure for video collaboration, that are tailored for the Turkish market.
The announcement marks an important step for Polycom in providing key partners and distributors with the highest level of support, services, and expertise on innovations such as Polycom RealPresence Mobile, which extends Polycom’s HD video collaboration technology beyond the office and conference room to deliver to tablets the same high-quality, secure, reliable video experience customers are accustomed to inside the office.
Turkish distributors and resellers of Polycom products will benefit from the knowledge of local UC and video collaboration experts who understand the needs and requirements of local customers.
