Leading value added distributor FVC joined hands with Sourcefire to distribute complete range of enterprise security solutions rights across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Sourcefire claims to be transforming the way large organisations manage and minimise network security risks with solutions from the network to the endpoint. It also manages some of the industry’s most respected open source security projects, including Snort and ClamAV. As a result, Sourcefire delivers the best of both worlds: open source collaboration and innovation teamed with full commercial solutions.
K.S. Parag, Managing director at FVC, said: “We are very pleased to have Sourcefire on board. As cyber security continues to evolve, open-source based solutions with commercial power, like those offered by Sourcefire, are seeing a lot of acceptance from Global 2000 organisations and government agencies. This now means that our partners have a choice of agile security offerings to share with their customers.”
FVC will provide on the ground support in terms of training plus pre and post-sales support to its channel partners across the region.
Anthony Perridge, EMEA channel director, Sourcefire said: “Our distribution partnership with FVC is very important as we continue to drive agile, adaptive security solutions into the MENA region. Customers in this emerging market are demanding more visibility and protection as part of their security deployments, and we’re very pleased to be partnering with FVC to further provide this.”
