LG is organising the region’s first 3D gaming competition starting on Saturday, 6 August at the Living Rooms video game café in Dubai Festival City, participants will vie for the ultimate accolade of being crowned the UAE’s first 3D gaming champion.

Over the course of six months, participants will battle it out across four different 3D games on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The Mega Championship showdown on 6, January 2012 will bring the 3D Gaming Festival to a close with the announcement of the UAE’s first-ever 3D gaming champion.

“LG is continually looking for innovative ways to engage its fan base with breakthrough technologies. We want the 3D Gaming Festival to raise the profile of 3D gaming in the region and show that the CINEMA 3D SMART TV is the television of choice for 3D gamers,” said H.S. Paik, President of LG Electronics Gulf

Participants can choose from four games including Michael Jackson ‘The Experience’, Call of Duty, FIFA Soccer ‘11, as well as Dirt 3.
