Zain Bahrain has announced that it will sponsor Bahrain Business Women Society in the popular women’s portal womengateway.com which serves as an information search engine that supports the women development in business, society and health; and is a successful national product of Bahrain that won international and regional awards for its contribution to the empowerment of women; under the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM King Hamad and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women.
This is the third consecutive year that Zain Bahrain is sponsoring the portal which presents a positive picture of Bahraini women and their achievements to the world.
“Women in Bahrain are equal partners in the task of nation-building and face modern challenges and avail of advantages such as good education and career opportunities. Women Gateway is doing pioneering work to disseminate news of this great change in the perception of Bahraini and Arab women to the world in three languages; and Zain Bahrain aims to contribute towards the cause taken up by HRH Princess Sabeeka through this support.” commented Samya Hussein, Corporate Communications Manager, Zain Bahrain.
