AOC, a global provider of display panels recently organised its global distributor meet dubbed “Go 2011” in Xiamen, China. The event which was attended by C.H. Tuan, president, AOC worldwide showcased the vendor’s new products and channel roadmap of 2011 to 100 distributors coming from various parts of globe.
Delivering his keynote address, Tuan outlined that despite a global slump in monitor sales in 2010, AOC not only exceeded expectations, but also achieved a 60% increase in monitor sales, resulting in16million units being sold. He told delegates at the distributor event that AOC has aggressively expanded its brand globally and is astonished at the growth levels the company has achieved in Asia, Middle East and Europe.
Ray Zhou, GM, for Asia Pacific and Middle East says the pace of AOC and their partners’ growth had the same rhythm and was one of the main reasons for competitors to be envious of the company. “For business to progress, it is important to maintain the same rhythm with all our channel partner,” he says.
Zhuo adds that with the positive business sentiment, AOC is optimistic that it will fare well in the current business landscape and expects to exceed industry growth rate via a mix of organic and inorganic growth strategies. AOC plans to expand its headcount, target new verticals and expand its geographic footprint.”
