NEC today announced the addition of  5 new TCO-certified, short-throw projectors to its successful M-series range of projectors. Energy-saving and low power consumption are the key feature for these projectors besdies clarity in projection even from a short distance. The filter has a cleaning interval of more than 6,000 hours, while the lamp’s Auto Eco Mode automatically adapts the luminous power of the lamp to the presentation content. They also have a 75 per cent AV Mute function, which allows the picture to be muted at the press of a button, whereby, reducing the luminous power by three-quarters results, not just in reduced energy consumption of the total projector, but also in significantly longer lamp life.

All the new models are equiped with both XGA (1024 x 768) and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution projection, with a contrast ratios of 2,000:1. Two VGA-, one HDMI-input and three USB ports, and network-capablity are the standard features for all the 5 new projectors.
