FVC, a value add distributor in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has added Lancope’s StealthWatch System to its distribution portfolio for performance and security offerings.
Lancope, Inc. is the leader in flow-based network performance and security monitoring. The agreement awards FVC the distribution rights for Lancope’s portfolio in the Middle East and North Africa region.
FVC will launch this partnership through seminars scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi and Doha through the month of September. Titled “One Source of Intelligence for Collaborative IT”, these seminars will focus on how StealthWatch unlocks hidden intelligence from the flow-data provided by your infrastructure devices; delivering actionable information and real value across an entire IT organisation.
FVC’s Managing Director, K. S. Parag, says, “IT and security managers are looking for actionable intelligence from their security data. Lancope provides the best tools and information that helps in enhancing the visibility of applications and data flows to ensure optimum IT performance. Backed by FVC’s award winning coverage, evangelization and support, channel partners will be able to add a key deliverable in their IT security and compliance offering or practice.”
StealthWatch is the first flow-based solution to combine powerful network performance monitoring with real-time behavior-based anomaly detection for unified network visibility across physical and virtual networks. Its patented flow-based approach delivers scalability, faster problem resolution workflow and the industry’s only unified platform for managing network, security and virtual operations. StealthWatch eliminates network blind spots and reduces total network and security management costs for more than 45 million hosts across hundreds of enterprise and government organisations worldwide.
“We are very pleased to partner with FVC, who we see as the ideal value-added distributor to help us establish our presence and grow our business in this region,” says Steve Simpson, Director of International Sales and Operations for Lancope. “The Middle East region is an early adopter of new technology. As enterprises expand and their IT infrastructures grow, intelligent network analysis and visibility are increasingly important for CIOs to manage, optimise and secure network capacity and resources.”
