Acer Middle East has announced the launch of their new ConceptD Series in the UAE, purpose-built to help creators unlock their full potential and unleash their creativity like never before. From design students and YouTube enthusiasts to CAD designers, video editors, illustrators and animators, the ConceptD Series includes features to suit the needs of professionals across the board.
ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro
The innovative ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro is a convertible notebook designed to give creators flexibility and the most intuitive experience possible. Its amber-backlit keys are set against a pristine white all-metal chassis which has a stain-resistant coating protecting the laptop from yellowing and marking from materials such as dirt, markers, and coffee.
Acer’s innovative Ezel hinge makes the device versatile empowering users with the ability to switch between six usage modes such as stand mode for drawing content or display mode for presenting it. Other usage modes include an adjustable float mode, traditional laptop mode, pad mode and share mode. 18 hours of battery life give the creator the freedom to create on the go. In addition, the device’s creative toolbox includes programmable keys and a suite of connectivity options, such as a SD card 7.0 reader and USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port, while weighing just 1.95 kg making it extremely portable.
The ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro features a 15.6-inch FHD PANTONE-Validated touchscreen display that covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and has a delta E<2 color accuracy. This lifelike display is perfect for drawing with Acer’s Active Stylus, featuring 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, and artists can make use of float mode to find their ideal drawing angle. Furthermore, the ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro is powered by 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H processor, NVIDIA Quadro T1000 and comes with 1 TB of PCIe SSD storage enabling creators to easily create, edit, and share their creations and videos faster than ever before. These specifications make the device powerful enough to handle not only drawing or sketching but also animation and 3D modelling — all at 40 dBA or quieter.
ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro
The ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro also leverages Acer’s Ezel hinge, making it ideal for all kinds of working scenarios whether it is collaborating with a team, sketching with the included Wacom EMR pen or presenting work to clients. Designers can transform the device to best suit their needs, choosing from six usage modes: sharing, floating, stand, pad, notebook or display mode.
The 4K IPS touch display (3840 x 2160 resolution) delivers more than 8 million pixels with a 400-nit High brightness rate, a 100% Adobe RGB color gamut and a color accuracy of Delta E<2, the displays reproduce the PANTONE Matching System (PMS) colors. Due to the highly mobile and interactive nature of many designers’ work, the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro display is made of Gorilla Glass 6, making it resistant to those pesky drops. It also includes a super useful anti-glare coating, which is perfect for working on the go in bright and sunny conditions.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro joins NVIDIA’s RTX Studio program. The notebook has been designed to stay cool and quiet, to allow creators to create in peace and produces less than 40dB of noise – equivalent to the sound level in a library – while maintaining high computing and graphics performance.
Pricing and Availability
All products within the ConceptD Series also come with a three-year carry-in warranty. The first year also includes an international traveller warranty. The ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro convertible notebook is available at Jumbo, starting at AED 19,999. The ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro will be available across the UAE in March starting at AED 8,999.
