HONOR 9S launched

HONOR today unveiled the HONOR 9S smartphone. The Android-based Magic UI 3.1 update will be available on the HONOR 9S.

Powered by a 3020mAh battery, up to 32 GB of expandable storage, an Octa-Core Processor and a single rear camera for impressive photography, the HONOR 9S will be available in select markets from today.

Running on Android 10, the HONOR 9S features the Huawei App Gallery and Huawei Assistant. The device includes helpful features like Phone Clone, where consumers can transfer data between mobile phones without the use of data cables. In addition, users will be able to download the App Finder in HUAWEI AppGallery.

Featuring a 5.45-inch FullView Display with a 1440 x 720-pixel resolution, the HONOR 9S delivers immersive viewing experience for gaming and video playback. The HONOR 9S display has obtained the Eye Comfort Certification from TÜV Rheinland. Weighing just 144 grams the phone features a slim bezel that is 8.35mm thin.

It comes the latest Magic UI 3.1, the HONOR 9S features an all-new Dark Mode. The Dark Mode strikes an optimal contrast between text and the background to enhance the overall reading experience. Moreover, color saturation is also modified to ensure greater consistency between the normal mode and Dark Mode. Additional design benefits include an all-new magazine-style layout with larger fonts and more blank space offering a cleaner display.

The HONOR 9S features an 8MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture on the back. The 8MP main camera is capable of taking panoramas and other pro-grade photos while the 5MP front camera with enhanced Beauty Mode delivers perfect selfies.

Powered by a 3020mAh battery and the smartphone delivers up to 21 hours of phone calls and 17 hours of video playback.

The HONOR 9S is unveiled in select global markets today.
