Wireless charging to be among top three tech trends next year

Belkin, has announced that wireless charging will be among the Middle East’s top three consumer tech trends of 2020, with the regional launch of the BOOST↑UP Bold Wireless Charging Pad 10W.

An increasing number of consumers in the Middle East and worldwide are turning to the faster and more convenient wireless charging — without the tangle of charging cables. As a result, the Middle East is supporting the global wireless charging market rapidly growing at a 39 percent CAGR, topping USD 71 billion by 2025, according to Allied Market Research.

Supporting Middle East wireless charging, Belkin has announced the regional availability of the Belkin BOOST↑UP Bold Wireless Charging Pad 10W. “Wireless charging will be among the Middle East’s top consumer tech trends of 2020, with consumers increasingly adopting wireless charging for the fastest and most convenient charging of their mobile devices,” said Fawad Mir, Sales Director, Belkin, Middle East and Africa. “Our Belkin BOOST↑UP Bold Wireless Charging Pad 10W is ideal for consumers to wirelessly charge at home or on the go, or for business adoption such as restaurants, cafes, or airport terminals.”

The wireless charging pad’s features also include optimization for better performance, a soft LED light that indicates proper charging, foreign object detection, and case compatibility.

According to Belkin, the BOOST↑UP Bold Wireless Charging Pad 10W is protected by a USD 2,500 connected equipment warranty and up to a 3-year warranty.
