“Iridesse is a digital press that will help our customers save a significant amount of time, improve the quality of their printing and gain a competitive edge using vibrant metallic colors and special effects,” said Ayman Mattar, General Manager at Xerox Kuwait. “The launch of Iridesse in the region was very successful as we continue to see a lot of interest from existing and new customers.”

Iridesse eliminates multiple presses and processes usually required for print embellishments, increasing capacity and profits for customers. Digital print enhancement can result in a rapid return on investment as print service providers’ profit margins on such embellishments can be as high as 50 to 400 percent.
With two inline specialty dry ink stations, customers can create lucrative applications with spot colors, metallic and mixed metallic gradients, and specialty enhancements.

“When Iridesse was first launched in the Middle East, we knew we wanted to purchase the press as it gives us the ability to create fully finished products using one press. We offer an extensive range of services that involve all types of printing and we produce large and small volume prints. Iridesse adds a competitive edge to our operations as we enhance our production capabilities and can print on 400 GSM media which allows us a lot more flexibility with packaging,” said Hafiz Muhammad Shabbir, Partner and General Manager, Al Hafiz Copy Centre. “The print quality is outstanding because the technology Xerox uses to make gold and silver colors enhances the CMYK which creates breathtaking results.”
