Are you participating at GITEX Technology Week this year?
Yes. Ever since Focus Softnet set up base in the UAE in 1992, we have not missed participating in a single edition of GITEX. The event is very important for Focus Softnet as it provides us with an opportunity to meet customers, partners and potential partners.

What are your plans for GITEX this year?
Focus Softnet is showcasing Focus 8 Ready for Cloud, Focus 8 incorporating WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) modules, Focus i – our mid-tier ERP solution with integrated business intelligence tools, and our complete range of Focus ERP solutions, including financials management, supply chain, and other modules. We will also be demonstrating our vertical market capabilities through Focus CRM Suite, Focus Retail Management Suite, Focus Restaurant Management Systems, facilities management and property management among others. GITEX will also provide an opportunity to promote Focus Softnet’s Managed Services, HR and Recruitment services, Business Process Consulting and implementations services to customers across the region.

What is your theme going to be for GITEX Technology Week?
Our primary focus will be on the Cloud-versions of our solutions and mobile apps. We will be placing the spotlight on our next generation ERP-in-cloud product – Focus 8 Ready for Cloud and our latest versions of Focus 8 incorporating WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) modules.

What technology and market trends have you seen this year on the Middle East market?
We are definitely seeing an increasing demand for mobile apps and cloud-based versions of our enterprise and vertical-specific solutions.

Will you be launching any new products or solutions at GITEX this year?
Yes. We have some announcements lined up at GITEX.

What sort of channel engagements have you planned for GITEX?
Our team will be meeting our channel partners to keep them abreast of the latest versions of our solutions. We will also be looking at recruiting new channel partner across the Middle East and Africa region.

How does GITEX Technology Week fit into your overall regional strategies?
We have been participating in GITEX for the last 20 years and the response we have received year-on-year has been bigger and better each year. This high profile ICT exhibition has helped us raise our corporate profile, increase our brand awareness and visibility as well as promote our products to a wider audience. GITEX is an ideal platform to showcase our best-in-class solutions and services, meet with existing and potential customers and hold demonstrations for visitors to show them the unique features our products and the benefits and cost savings of implementing our solutions. Given the reach of the platform, GITEX brings together enterprises from across the GCC and Africa, allowing us to the ability to increase the awareness of our brand, products and services to a larger audience.
