Zaker Trading, a leading supplier of premium welding, lifting and safety products to various regional industrial customers, has a number of showrooms and warehouses in the GCC region.

Zaker’s recent move to its new custom-made 50,000 sq.ft. headquarters in Dubai, required a new IT and communications set-up, updating the company’s old legacy infrastructure. Through system integrator Al Futtaim Technologies, Zaker deployed a mix of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise networking and unified communications products and solutions, including the Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess 5850 Enterprise Services Router, OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server, OmniSwitch LAN switches and OmniAccess wireless LAN access points.
