Cisco to participate at COMEX 2016

Cisco_logoCisco announced its participation at COMEX 2016 that will be held from April 12th to 14th at the Oman International Exhibition Center in Muscat. The company will highlight and demonstrate how countries, cities and companies can embrace digital transformation that will pave the way for sustainable growth, drive innovation and create jobs for the future.

Digitization and the Internet of Things (IoT) play a vital role in the way governments and the enterprises can accelerate business and provide new experiences with cost efficiencies that will improve the lives of citizens and customers.

On April 12, 11.30 am the systems engineering manager at Cisco, Mahmoud Kayali will present ‘Digital Transformation – Disrupt or be Disrupted’ and John Hoonhout, the GM for Oman at Cisco will present ‘Accelerating Country Digitization’ on April 13, 10.50 am.

While presentation on ‘Fast IT in the context of Application Centric Infrastructure’ will be presented by Scott Manson, the head of architectures for Middle East and Turkey at CISCO on April 14 at 10.40 am. And, he will again in action on April 14 at 12.10 am to present ‘How Digitization is facilitating e-tailing on a whole new level’.

“Oman is leveraging ICT in a concerted effort to move the Sultanate towards becoming a sustainable knowledge based society. COMEX, as one of the most widely attended technology events in the country, provides the perfect opportunity for Cisco to showcase its thought leadership and experiences in the area of digital transformation,” said Hoonhout.

Cisco will be present at the show along with their partner GBM at stand 601 near the Business entrance and several senior experts from the company will be available to meetings.
