25 French companies to show off new products and solutions through the French Pavilion at GITEX

UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development, will be organising the French Pavilion for the 34th edition of GITEX.This International Tradeshow for Information Technology will be held in Dubai from next October 12th to 16th at the World Trade Centre (DWTC). The 250-m² French Pavilion will host 25 exhibitors in Hall 4 at booths D4-10/D4-26 and D4-27/D4-35.

It is worth mentioning that this year the French/Tunisian IT Alliance (AFTN) will be on hand: there will be 6 French companies presenting their know-how together with their Tunisian partner. The 25 companies are involved in sectors relating to network and software solutions and IT hardware.

Total revenue from software publishing and IT services amounted to €37b in 2013. The sector employs 369,000 people, including 270,000 IT engineers. There are also 3,200 software publishers, of which 2,500 are French. The sector ranks third among Europe’s industries and fifth worldwide.
