Anders Lindblad, President, Ericsson Middle East, says: “Being recognized by Gartner as a leader in the LTE Magic Quadrant yet another year running confirms Ericsson’s commitment to delivering users in the MENA region and beyond with the best network performance possible.

“As a leader in a wide range of services, including LTE Broadcast and VoLTE, Ericsson hopes to continue pushing the region toward a Networked Society, where everything will be connected in real-time, by partnering with local operators to deliver LTE, and its associated top quality benefits, to end-users.”

Ericsson is present in high traffic markets, and of the top 10 LTE operators ranked by LTE subscriptions in May, 2013, Ericsson powers 9 of these top 10 LTE operators’ live networks.

Ericsson is the prime driver of open standards and has had the most significant impact on the LTE specifications released to date. Ericsson expects to hold 25 percent of all essential patents for LTE, making it the largest patent holder in the industry. Ericsson is the industry leader in managed services, managing networks that serve over 800 million subscribers globally.
