BenQ to unveil its Gaming Monitor at Games 2011

BenQ will showcase its flagship gaming monitor- the XL 2410T at the ‘Beat the Pro’ Challenge to be held during the Games Alliance Middle East Show 2011, which will be held from 22nd to 23rd September 2011 at the Ice Rink – Dubai Mall, Dubai, UAE.

Gamers from across the region will have a chance to face off against Yegor Markelov (a.k.a Markeloff) one of the leading E-Sports players in the world from Team Navi, at the ‘Beat the Pro’ Challenge. With an AED 5,000 prize up for grabs, gaming enthusiasts from around the Middle East are set to battle it out over the two-day tournament which is set to take place from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily.

The gamers will use BenQ’s new 23.6” (16:9 Aspect Ratio) LED Gaming Monitor, BenQ XL2410T during the tournament. The BenQ  XL2410T is a gamer’s tour-de-force, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, 23.6″W LED panel, backlighting and 2ms response time. In addition, the monitor is equipped with an extensive range of gaming modes, has the ability to display video from two sources at the same time and be adjusted to just about any angle.

BenQ has been banking big time on Gaming and has been focusing on the segment with great seriousness and they held their first- ever gaming event- a Counterstrike Tournament earlier in this year in the month of May. They also brought the world renowned gaming legends HeatoN and SpawN to Dubai for the same event.
